Duncan Hoss currently serves as the Chief Civil Deputy with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office. For ten years, he mentored the Crisis Intervention Team on how to identify and deescalate people in the midst of a mental health crisis. Seeing that there is a need to bring this knowledge to business owners and managers in the private sector, he founded Threat Management NW through which he teaches courses on workplace violence, active shooter incidents and creating a positive culture in your organization. Mr. Hoss earned his Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and his bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Aspen University. For Portland Community College, he serves as an adjunct professor.
